sHR was at TPÖÇG’s “23rd National Psychology Students Congress” Event

On the 5th of July, as sHR. team, with the hosting of Turkish Psychology Students Association, we were at METU – Middle East Technical University for the “23rd National Psychology Students Congress” event which aims to make the psychology students more aware in their field and developments in different areas of psychology discipline. For this year with the participation of 1300 psychology students, the theme was “Me and Us”.

sHR speaker, I/O Psychologist and Talent Miner, Özlem Yürekli addressed the issues of her career journey, talent mining, psychology related career opportunities in IT sector, the intersection of technology & psychology, and the must have soft skills for the future jobs reported by World Economic Forum (WEF) in 2018. In the congress program there were also other important names for the Industrial and Organizational Psychology community like Prof. Dr. Arzu Wasti, Assoc. Dr. Mahmut Beyazıt and Dr. Savaş Ceylan.

All in all, it was a pleasure for us to be invited to this congress and be with TPÖÇG at METU and make a contribution to such a great event composed of great people! We sincerely thank to TPÖÇG and TPÖÇG President Türker Ceyhun Göksügür for their hospitality.
