On the 8th of May, our Talent Miner, Özlem Yürekli was a guest speaker in Introduction to Psychology lecture taken by all psychology and sociology students as a must course at Altınbas University.

The aim of the lecture was to make university students to make familiar with the practical applications of Psychology, particularly, Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Özlem Yürekli, as I-O Psychologist, explained the basic of I-O Psychology, topics & theories in this area, and the application of them in the practice. First, she talked about the history of HR, all HR functions, and importance of recruitment for organizations, competencies required for being a successful recruiter. Then, she underlined the reasons why IT-Tech Recruitment requires expertise. After explaining the insufficiency of existence methodologies and approaches in the practice, she described “Talent Mining ®” concept.

It was a pleasure to be invited to this course, meet with young and energetic students and discuss the topic with them. We would like to thank to Hilal Şen again for her invitation. We hope that we gain top notch talents by increasing their knowledge about IT-Tech Recruitment and make them love the occupation.
