On the 29th of November, as sHR. team, we were at Students Council’s Room at Koc University for the “Careers in Psychology Panel” which aims to make the university students more aware of career opportunities in different areas of psychology discipline. The practitioner psychologists in the field of clinical (Suzi Amado) and organizational psychology (Özlem Yürekli) were invited to this panel by Koc University Career Development Center to share their career journey, experiences & observations in the field.

The first speaker, I/O Psychologist, Özlem Yürekli addressed the issues of her career journey, talent mining, psychology related career opportunities in IT sector such as Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Business Analyst etc., the intersection of technology & psychology, and the must have soft skills for the future jobs reported by World Economic Forum (WEF) in 2018. The second panelist, Clinical Psychologist & Expressive Arts Therapist Suzi Amado, talked about her career development, her experiences about studying abroad and how to cope with hard parts of being a clinical psychologist.

All in all, it was great for us to be in Koc University and make a contribution to such a great panel composed of great people! We sincerely thank to Koc University Career Development Center for inviting us.
