John Arden, author of 14 books, via the invitation of Yeni Psikoloji, gave a conference about his latest book “MIND-BRAIN-GENE – Toward Psychotherapy Integration” in Kolektif House, Istanbul. John Arden as a mental health expert believes that instead of choosing from the blizzard of psychotherapy schools of the past, we must move toward finding common denominators among them.

John Arden, Ph.D. has 40 years of experience providing psychological services and directing mental health programs. Until July 2016 he practiced at Kaiser Permanente Medical Centers in Petaluma and San Rafael, California. Since 1999 he served as the Director of Training for the Kaiser Permanente Medical Centers, Northern California region. He has developed one of the largest mental health training programs in the United States.

In his all day long training, he talked about how to integrate mental and physical health, latest advances in attachment theory, trauma, neuroscience, epigenetics, human development, and mind training in a fresh and interesting way.

Even though we as sHR work in an environment full of technology, we know that human is the most important element of our sector. We attended to Dr. Arden’s MIND-BRAIN-GENE training since, we believe that it is important for IT Recruiters to know about human psychology and mental needs as well as technical knowledge.
