Responsibilities

  • Define and manage hardware requirements for projects
  • Build, lead, and manage the engineering team
  • Plan and execute hardware testing and verification activities
  • Collaborate with other teams involved in the design and development process
  • Ensure the preparation of hardware design documentation

 

Qualifications

  • Experience in hardware design for brushed and brushless motor driver boards used in actuators
  • Strong background in power electronics, including motor drives, AC-DC and DC-DC converters
  • Experience in the aerospace or defense industry, with knowledge of applicable standards and experience designing electronic boards in compliance with relevant defense industry requirement
  • Hands-on experience with military and industrial communication protocols (e.g., MIL-STD-1553, ARINC, RS-232, RS-422/485, Ethernet, USB, CAN, I2C, SPI)
  • Experience with FPGA-based projects
  • Proficiency with laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, signal generator, power supply, multimeter, etc.)
  • Experience in electronic circuit design, schematic capture, and multilayer PCB design
  • Experience in hardware integration, schematic review, and troubleshooting
  • Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in hardware development and verification activities in accordance with DO-254
